Brainwave entrainment, also referred to as brainwave synchronization and neural entrainment, refers to the capacity of the brain to naturally synchronize its brainwave frequencies with the rhythm of periodic external stimuli, most commonly auditory, visual, or tactile.
Brainwave states fall within five key ranges. These “brainwave patterns” are associated with specific states of awareness or consciousness. Specific brainwave patterns are known to occur with dream states, normal waking states, deep states of relaxation and deep states of meditation or concentration.
Dreamless Sleep. Deep Trance State. Deeply Restorative.
Daydreaming. Enhanced Creativity. Flow State.
Relaxed Focus. Light Trance State. Links Conscious & Subconscious.
Conscious Focus. Alert & Engaged. Normal Waking State.
Heightened Focus. Peaceful State. Deep Clarity.
Relaxed Awareness. Meditative State. Blend of All Wave Frequencies.
